The attention is the worst. I got to the 1 am for my son who fell and broke his head. They told me that it would take 4 hours and to wait, however, I left my number so that they call us back, they did it in 7 hours, what kind of emergency is this. I had to go back to my house, how was I going to have my son 7 hours sitting with many people waiting to be seen and catching a virus. I saw a little better and preferred to return home until they call me. Indeed, they called me after 7 hours, I arrived a little longer than I said because there was indeed traffic, I called to excuse myself and have them wait for me, however a very rude lady as soon as she saw me and said she has to re-register and wait a few more hours. And he told me so they all waited. What an ugly attention and how ugly these people who worked this morning. This system is depressing how they can cater to children. If they don't consider it an emergency, they should say so at the first inspection and not make children so young wait so long, my son is only 2 years old. It's attention was today 23 sep 2022

These doctors are horrible. They mistreat me so badly. They disrespected my privacy. Wouldn’t listen to my needs but punish me for incident.

After docotors seem to give up on my daughter in NJ I went to CHOP they are amazing and saved her life !!!

Call the front desk and they will connect you to HR.
You should contact the pR rep
Always
IM NOT SURE ABOUT THE CARE. THE HOSPITAL IS VERY BEAUTIFUL . TRY IT AND SEE FOR YOURSELF IF YOU ASK ME. CHOP HAS RECOGNITION AND EXPERTS THOUGH !
16 dollars but be sure to get your ticket validated st the information desk and it goes down to 4 dollars, per day. If your visiting often ask about the 24 hour pass.
there's a ton of good nephrologists
Fairmount Park in front of Please Touch Museum
I am not sure, may be you need to come and check it out at the front desk. It's a big hospital so take time and check out.
Yes depends if pediatric illnesses otherwise there's Penn next door
Senior nurses aid
No sure. But I would think so.
Definitely take to ER
It's on the 6th floor of the Main building. Or if coming in through the Wood center it's on the 5th floor then walk towards Main for the 6th floor. It's called the Special Delivery Unit.
Only the first 30 minutes in the garage are free. And it's only $4 if you get your ticket validated w/ a parent band
You would have to ask them and ask if it was documented by the nurses.
No stuffed animals sorry
You should contact the actual hospital.
Yes want to be a baby cuddler how do I become a baby cuddler?
The best person to ask would be the doctor or the family liaison or the social worker - they can tell you best and make exceptions to accommodate your family 🙏🏽
What is the specific question?
There are several hotels on the area as well as a Ronald McDonald House. The admission office can help you I am sure
I agree, the staff is great, the place is clean. 👌
I honestly do not think so. Unless you have a primary care doctor there which some Drs do that but would call your primary care doctor to double check with them.
3401 Civic Center Blvd, Philadelphia, PA 19104
No still have covid protocols in place ,two primary caregivers can trade back and forth only 1 parent overnight no other visitors
Give them a call, ask for head of nursing
Yes
Im assuming your referencing the age of patients? Which is newborns to young adults!
Yes they do on the 3rd floor of the wood center
You have to contact the hospital and see if they can help you with international
I think there are no nutritionist or dietitian outside chop
Ronald McDonald house? Or as one of the hospital's social workers.
Do you have the app My Chop? If you don't download and you can look for all departments and doctors numbers and maybe you can find the right person to talk to,,
May be front desk will guide you with proper doctor. Good bless
For pediatric illness they might otherwise I think only accept children
Yes. If you resigned. Not to sure about if you were fired. It may take some time though.
Hospital is the first in the world in terms of patient care by all staff of medical staff or nursing staff or other departments Hospital in the sense of the word Thank you to all staff I congratulate the United States hospital such a great entity
No, but the front desk will validate your your ticket from the parking garage & your are charged @ the most $ 6 (it may be slightly higher it's been awhile)
Dont know Spanish
call for the global patient office in the children hospital of Philadelphia they can help you for sure
Right next door is the hospital of the university of Pennsylvania.
If you have a Parent validate your ticket ?? It's $4.00..
No they are not but they do teach some Penn docs
I recommend calling the doctor. Without knowing your daughter's details, no one will be able to offer a sound opinion. I'm sure the majority of us don't have a medical degree either, so be cautious accepting medical advice. I hope your daughter's surgery is a success and she heals quickly.
You can access your child's results on MyChop. Talk to your child's doctor about how to access MyChop.
Yes, but in new condition
All year
I'm not sure which building it's in or anything about the doctor's their but check out the website
There are social workers at the Hospital who can assist you; also the child's insurance provider have case managers that can assist as well...I don't know if the child has to have a medical condition for the services.
Call the main number and the operator will be able to assit you
No
You can stay in your child's room (futon). My husband and I both wanted to stay overnight; they allowed a blow up mattress.
Yes I work at Chop and most depts have a waiting list. Just schedule the next available and ask to be placed on the cancellation list. U can also see if one of the satellite sites have a sooner appt.
Yes, but you will need to set up an appointment immediately as it can take up to 6 months for a new consult sometimes. I am sure they might be able to make accommodations since you are from out of the country and well be here in August but I wouldn't hesitate in getting that set up. You would need to call the clinic office for orthopedics and they can set everything up for you. A couple of orthopedic doctors are Dr. Robert Campbell and Dr. Patrick Cahill. I would say call Cahill's office as Campbell is close to retirement. My daughter has been there twice in the past 6 months for orthopedic surgery so let me know if you have any other questions. They also have a hospitality organization that can help you with planning everything you need for your stay that is extremely helpful!
Check your discharge papers. They normally refer to your family doctor for follow up unless you don't have one but you shouldn't be going back to the ER
516 beds facility
People continue to grow until aroind age 24 so i suppose it's possible
All emergency rooms work on a triage basis. Your child would be seen in order after the triage nurse does the initial exam. Your child would be seen by a doctor immediately if the symptoms are severe.
I have the same problem with I it found any solution can u please help mi with my 2years niece she really needs help
My advice would be to contact Children's Hospital in Philadelphia directly and ask for a consultation with a doctor. God Bless your daughter
Call the Hospital they have a great staff to answer any of your questions
I'm sorry. I don't
Premier Children's Hospital in the United States. Your child needs care for a myriad of serious illnesses there's nowhere else that compares to CHOP
Try HUP, Temple, or many of the hospitals in Philadelphia
No. Are there any issues? been satisfied thus far w/services.
I would advise talking to your doctor or transferring to a specialist. There are a lot of tests available now which can check for RA and Lyme among other things. I've been through this and know it can be frustrating. God Bless and I hope you get some answers
Call ask them
Take him to the emergency room and get him look at now
Call them and ask them
That's insane. Ugh is right! Sorry for the no sleep.
Talk to one of the social worker, they will help tremendously, they helped us out alor
Yes
All
Dragon l,Robin C,and Jason Parker I agree with them. Make sure it's you and the child only no siblings.
My educated guess from being in the NICU so long is probably 4.
Yes
I believe if you call the main number they can direct you as to who to speak to directly to insure your donation gets to the appropriate channels. I personally am unsure so far we have only donated to the cardiac floor. As a parent thank you for your support.
Hala Khala is the first hospital in America for children and it includes all specialties but I do not know is treating muscular atrophy and as far as I know there is no effective treatment for this disease so far but what can prevent me visit the hospital is useful if it is not a cure I am currently in the treatment of my daughter
