I have placed an order September 21st and have uploaded the RX the same day. Again I received an email of September 22nd saying they need RX and I have emailed it again. As I have not received any response, I called them and they said they have received the RX and the person who handles it will be notified. I said I need my order to be shipped out ASAP and he said he would update it to the shipping department. Today on October 5th I called and they said the units are on backorder as I did not send the RX. Such a shame to work with a company who lies to you all the time. She said she doesn't know who answered the phone on September 22nd. If she could spare time to go over with she could have found out and there was a background nice all through the call. She said she was in a zoom meeting. So you take calls for what, just to answer and not to help? Will never recommend or do business with your company.

Hi Robert, our company does not work directly with any insurance. We do provide you with a hard copy of the invoice that you may submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement. You can contact Medicare directly for more information. Thank you!
David, yes CPAP masks do require a valid prescription.
Contact them because a dirty machine will get you sick
Hi Marie, there are no products available to clean inside the units. However, we would recommend checking out the SoClean 2 sanitizing machine. This will sanitize your mask, tubing, and water reservoir. You can find that product here; https://www.thecpapshop.com/soclean-2-cpap-cleaner-machine
Hi Michael, thanks for reaching out! We can assist with any kind of setting changes that may be needed, but we don’t need to monitor the device. That would be up to your physician if needed. Additionally, yes, all of our devices are brand new. For more information, give us a call at 866-414-9700.
I don’t know. My husband only wears a mask that covers his nose.

Max, a number of CPAP users sleep on their side! It all depends on what type of CPAP mask you use, and the customer care team at The CPAP Shop is great at recommending products based on your individual needs and sleeping habits. Hope this helps!
You can absolutely purchase your own CPAP machine as long as you submit a valid prescription from your doctor. The FDA requires a prescription prior to the sale of CPAP equipment. You can submit right on The CPAP Shop website or by faxing it to the customer care team.
This is a myth because CPAP machines sold by The CPAP Shop provide pressurized air which provides easier access to oxygen for the lungs. If you have been prescribed a CPAP machine and you use it according to your doctor’s guidelines then you have nothing to worry about. Some patients claim to suffer from pneumonia due to CPAP but this is a rare case and can be easily avoided. Just read through this blog and you’ll know how to avoid pneumonia while using a CPAP machine.
The CPAP masks at The CPAP Shop aren’t dangerous. There is no way that you can suffocate while wearing a CPAP mask. Although you might experience difficulty breathing if you wear a CPAP mask without connecting it to a CPAP machine. Some patients experience panic attacks when starting CPAP therapy but even that is not life-threatening. You can learn more from this blog.
Yes a dirty CPAP can get you sick due to the build up of bacteria. Not sure about pneumonia per say but maybe it's possible?! Just make sure you keep it clean with anti bacterial wipes! 🙏❤️

Hi Barbara, I'm sorry our NJ store location does not have them readily available. However, we do have a store in Ohio that does. Let me know if you'd like someone to contact you with further information!
