Wasn't given a number just a letter with paperwork to fill out. Wasn't told that I needed to get back in line to get a number. Sat there an extra 45 minutes to get a driving record print out.

The flow of the DMV was great. They seem to have figured out how to move the lines fast.

Super crowded as usual
Josie Westfall
They get you in and out pretty quickly here

No. Not open on Saturdays
Yes
No apoitment is nessery however if you do make a apt the wait will be much less.
It should be unless it's a holiday..
Talk to your sgt or cpt they would be able to at least point you in the right direction. Or just get a new CA drivers license.
1) Visit a local California DMV office. 2) Fill out a Driver's License of Identification Card Application (Form DL44). 3) Provide proof of your identity, SSN, and residency. 4) Pay the $27 duplicate license fee.
DMV is closed weekends, open 8 am to 5 pm Mon.- Fri. Check online for holidays but basically if it's a federal holiday being celebrated, DMV will be closed like banks, schools, post offices, etc.
Go in with your bill of sale and see what they will need from you. Make an early morning appt. to avoid long wait times.
Gifted is cheapest.
DMV will be closed on Presidents Day.
I believe that the real id is necessary if you plan on traveling by air, and going into federal buildings bring your birth certificate, your SSN card, any and all documents that show a name change, if you've been married both past and present. Proof of residency, and current licence from whatever state you're from. I think that's it . You can go to wwe.dmv.ca.gov and make sure. Good luck, and welcome
Yes
My last 3 visits to 29 Palms dmv were without appointment and without pain lol. 30 mins max as a walk-in. So I'm extremely lucky (casino says not) or they know how to get'r done!
Not sure , but I doubt it. It is a government holiday and banks are closed.
They are accepting appts for that day but ya never know.
Do it before the weekend they are only open during the week and open a hour later on Wednesdays
I just call the 800 number and set an appointment. Do you need the number? You can also set an appointment online at www.dmv.ca.org
If the online process was successful, they will it to you. Otherwise, you will have to go in. Contact the DMV to see.
Typically if you paid at DMV they give you a paper temp license and you receive the hard copy in mail. Same process online.
No
Check online for sppointments
No apps as of yet, bring a chair and get therebearly
You have to have a number to be seen and dmv stops handing out numbers at 4pm and there is always a line .i got there at 2:30pm and barely got a number before 4pm and it was still another 45 mins until i was seen for real
For vehicle registration, driver license renewal, yes.
Yes
I believe so. Google says so at least aha
Monday thru Friday. But stop taking new people 3:45 pm
Yes if it is a California car renewal , I would follow up with your local DMVs website if not. J suggest paying it online as the lines can be long and hot.
They say appointment only, but I walked in 2 weeks ago and was seen.
I assume you got autocorrected and meant how much to renew a state ID. The fee is $29. I hope this helps.
They are open need face mask will take apptments first have line out side 6ft apart recommend be there 07:30 chances are you'll be able to get in within 1an 1half hrs
no.
I think my sister in law transferred hers, not sure, you'll probably have to talk to DMV, good luck with everything
Registration for a auto is required when the regular registration is due, even if its not running or on non op.
She said something about having to pay back fees before being able to get the non op. Why?
You must have an appointment for a behind the wheel test. Yes if your permit is expired you will have to start over with all documents and written and vision tests
You have to make an appointment usually after you take the written they automatically give you an appiontment
it is not a question anyone can answer you have to go in and check or online
No
U have to go there and pay the outrageous fee if ur low income go to county office they will give u low income form only have to pay 10 at d.m.v
No you don't.
No they do not... The nearest self service Kiosk terminal is at the palm desert office. Every office has an Express deposit box where you can drop off your transaction inside a sealed envelope with no "cash" inside just check or money order and they will process the item within 5 business day and mail everything out to you. If there is something missing it will noted when you receive the item back to you by mail.
No you do not but it's recommend. You would just book the appointment under "driver license"
You need your License number and your thumb print to renew.
This has already been taken care of. Check under your bed.
Wait line time is long, so you should call and make an appointment.
Smog certificate if not smog exempt. And what ever back fees are owed also proof of insurance I believe
