Little girl in the office tried to charge me an unsecured load fee for some lumber in the bed of my truck that has been riding to and from work for 2 weeks.

It's quick and easy. You pay by the load not like some waste yards when you pay by the cubic yards...

Easy. Was in and out in about 10 minutes. Had a U-Haul and had to get rid of a couch and a few other pieces of furniture and it was only like 7 bucks.

I bought a piece of property in brazos county - it has lots of tires that have been dumped on it - will you take them - if not what do I do with them?

I do not work for the landfill. They will charge you for each tire for disposal. Check with the recycling center for the county in which you reside and compare prices they might be cheaper than this landfill. The size and type of tire matters. Larger tires, truck tires & tractor tires cost more for disposal. We had the same problem on our land. We also had metal that is worth $$ that we hauled off to a metal recycler. Good luck with this project!

Will it take broken tile, cement, paint cans, old nonworking a/c unit ??

Paint usually needs to be in a dry state or recycled. I think hardware stores sell a drying agent. A/C units need any freon or liquids removed. These are pretty basic hazardous waste guidelines. You can always call them for their rules. I did see an oil recycling tank when I was there.
