I would like to retire in a couple of years but would like to double check my numbers. Can you tell me if the VUSD tells me I am an 11 month employee cause I work into the last month by 1 week do I use 11 month employee or 10 month in pers page?

You can do so by going to calpers.ca.gov and clicking the MyCalPERS login button which is located at the upper right corner on a desktop or by tapping the menu button (three lines) on a mobile device and scrolling down to the menu option that says myCalPERS Log In. Once logged into your account, there will be an account summary right at the top of the page. To change your address, you can do so by logging in to your myCalPERS account from calpers.ca.gov, contacting us by phone at 888-CalPERS (or 888-225-7377) or downloading, completing, and returning the Address Change Authorization (PDF) form by mailing or faxing it to the number shown on the form. If I have reciprocity, and do not have 5 years in my current job to be vested but I have 2 years 6 month with my current job and 1 year and 6 months with another PERS job can I still retire and how does not having the five affect my retirement.

1 reason may be that CalPERS is a government pension 401(a) not a 401(k).
