What a great facility! Nice building, wonderful, caring staff, they are very passionate about what they do and they offer a lot of services for families with kiddos that have vision impairments or blindness.

How many children are served by your organization? Is it set up like a school for the blind, except not residential? What other organizations in the State or Region are similar to a State School for the Blind?

Hi Linda. In our current facility, we serve approximately 60 children each year. We are moving to a larger facility on June 1, 2018 and will be expanding our programs and services allowing us to serve more children. Nevada is one of 7 states that does not have a school for the blind. Our organization provides education and recreation after-school programs and will be expanding services at the new facility to include a full-day daycare & preschool. Please consider coming out for a tour or giving us a call if you have more questions. Thanks so much for reaching out! - Emily Smith, Executive Director, NBCF
