To the Board of Directors, I have been a member of PBCU since 1996, during my time with point breeze I have had savings, checking, auto loans and credit cards. My wife is also a member of Point Breeze since 2016. We have accounts for both our daughters with Point Breeze. With that being said I must say how frustrated I am when I tried to bring our accounts together and do a joint account for us both. For some reason your banking app will only allow one person to be the so called “administrator” of the account. So my wife can’t see the balance of the account, can’t take money out, and basically can only put money in. I couldn’t believe what I was being told by Nancy when we were going over this. She advised me that she receives this complaint daily. How in the world is this possible in 2022, every single bank that I have an account with can accommodate this. My kids account I can’t even see the balance on them. This is totally unacceptable! I then tried to add my wife to my PBCU Visa card and was told, that she can only be a co-signer and would require a new card and credit check to make her a co-borrower. Absolutely insane! I logged onto my Capitol One card and was able to add her and have a card shipped within the app and was done literally in 35 seconds with a confirmation that the card was on the way. When asked why PBCU is so far behind the curve on this, I was told that they haven’t found software they like yet. This process is beyond unacceptable. As of this week I will be withdrawing all of fiancés from PBCU and switching to a new Credit Union, who was able to accommodate all of my needs via a phone call and some minor documents emailed to them. PBCU failed on so many levels, and it’s a shame that after 26 years of being a customer that I can’t even have a joint account where both people can use it. You need to fix this system! I closed my PBCU credit card years ago. Suddenly, I got and email for a late fee about that card. I looked at the account the balance was $0.00. However, they still charged $10 late fee. I called PBCU, and I was told it was a mistake and everyone made mistake. Wow, the bank made a smart mistake. By the way, PBCU took money from my checking to cover the late fee.
