I need to contact someone in the department of unemployment ASAP. Its really important because it is something that is related to person's health and i have been trying to get in hold of someone from the department of unemployment but nothing worked. Can someone from your staff contact me as soon as possible?

The Department of labor are always on top of their job making sure that you receive the income that you did not get from your employer. Im a happy camper. Thank you guys very much. God bless.👍🙌

Because unemployment benefits are income, you elected to have State and Federal income taxes withheld from the amount. $137 is $164 less the State and Federal taxes.
Depending upon the type of harassment or discrimination, this could fall under the jurisdiction of the Maryland Commission on Civil Rights (MCCR). You can get more information here: https://mccr.maryland.gov/Pages/default.aspx
Unfortunately the Division of Labor and Industry is a separate division of the Department of Labor and we do not have access to the Unemployment Insurance Division's computer system to be able to determine the status of any UI claims. Our office enforces Wage & Hour law, Safety inspections of boilers, elevators, amusement rides and railroads, MOSH, and building code administration.
You can get that from the Comptroller of Maryland: https://www.marylandtaxes.gov/business/1099g-faq.php
To dissolve your corporate charter you have to go to the charter division or assments and taxation. It does cost money to dissolve.
I wish i could have been more helpful.. But Unfortunately this office building was closed. Hence, there was none we could take. I drove my friend who hadn't been able to submit any weekly claim. Extremely, Frustrating process. Keep Up the Determination & Perseverance. God be with you🙏
