Ordered an iced chai latte on mobile. Get there. Waiting 15 minutes nothing. Finally they said they don’t have chai. Really? Maybe say something to me instead of letting me stand there on a Monday morning!

(V) was the server: Background: I’ve been in this area for 7 years now. V arrived just pre-covid (2019?). This place has become “night and day,” (“before vs after…”) when contrasted with it prior to V’s arrival: I.Before V Took Over (3 stars) 1. Coffee, was rarely up to snuff, although all DD coffees are good regardless of how fresh they are 2. Egg and other sandwiches were fair to good…but sometimes not fresh 3. Donuts were a “lottery ticket..” (I am not even joking about this!...) a. Sometimes they would be fair to good b. At the wrong time of the day- ROCKs are actually softer than what they provided 4. Employees?- a bunch of kids mainly..hit or miss again…just depended on who was managing the shift (but honestly on LI, we don’t care…just give us top quality food…) II. After V Took Over- (SIX stars on a Scale of 1-5!) 1. Coffee, is off the charts- super-fresh…they re-brew every few minute 2. Egg and other sandwiches are usually insanely good 3. Donuts are “can’t miss items now: a. My fave is boston crème i. Off the charts fresh and just the right amount of topping and custard ii. Better yet, as a change of pace, I timidly tried on other occasions, not knowing what to expect Double chocolate, Bavarian crème and even pumpkin (a) Once again…ALL WERE FANTASTIC! At all times of the morning or evening 4. Employees?- a bunch of kids, again…but they’ve selected hard, fast thinking workers that are equipped to deal with us crazy and demanding- LI-ers. Very polite…and they correct mistakes instantly… Am I expecting you to thank me/us for this? NONSENSE…it is you that we all must thank…with the restaurants competing for Covid- dollars…well the “cream” { boston crème at that…LOL} has risen to the top.. THANK YOU VERY MUCH…and I hope that you thrive..

I should have learned my lesson by now with this place… I go here mainly for the convenience cause it’s on my way to work. Today wasn’t the first time this place had trouble with the mobile orders. I ordered way before I left my house because I know they always are backed up. When I got there not only was my mobile order not ready but they claim the “mobile orders aren’t working”. When asked what I got I told them and the worker made me a completely different order , they made my another drink again not what I ordered by that time I was almost late for work and just needed to leave. Hopefully I learned my lesson and will avoid this Dunkin at all costs. Probably one of the worsts on Long Island.

Indian guy there is rude. I was ordering and I felt I was being charged extra for something I didn’t order and it was a misunderstanding and I apologized. He was talking about me in Hindi little did he know am Indian and know the Hindi language. He seemed embarrassed after his comment when I advised him I’m also Indian. The coffee isn’t great and I’m not returning here because they like to make fun of people and not say things directly to your face and in Hindi rather than English to avoid a confrontation because they are scared 😂
