Had to talk to a man named Steve said he was in charge. Talked really bad to his employees. Lady there said everyone was quitting since he started. People with over 20 years. Even his management team walked out and his maintenance people. Won't buy there anymore.

Horrible customer service with dishonest representation, acted in bad faith. I was given a record player/tape deck made by them. Still in the box. It made a loud clicking noise when playing. I contacted their customer service to ask if they were aware of this issue and if there was a fix. At no point was I asking for warranty, I didn't know anything about their warranty. They immediately replied telling me they haven't heard of this issue but there's a lifetime warranty. They included a return label. I was blown away. I sent it back. After 2 weeks of hearing nothing I tracked it and saw it had been returned 10 days ago. I reached out for an update and was told I didn't buy it from them and they would not be warranting it. Ok, I never said I did buy it from them, they never even asked for proof of purchase. They said "lifetime warranty". So I asked if they were going to help me with parts, or charge me to repair it or send it back broken. None of the above. My product has been confiscated. I was told there is some fine print in the return authorization that of it wasn't bought from them directly returning it for warranty could result in it not being returned. Again this was never mentioned to me. No one asked me how I got it or told me there was some gotcha clause. If they said "make sure you can prove you purchased it from us directly" I would have. It is their product, they brought up the warranty to me, I didn't even ask for it, I sent it back in good faith. Now they refuse to return my stereo, I presume because it's already been scrapped, and they are acting in bad faith offering me nothing and admitting no wrong doing. So I strongly recommend not buying from this company. They don't operate in good faith and have done nothing to satisfy this customer.

Ordered an indoor antenna for newly Grandaughter & Husband,can't afford cable yet.When it arrived they received a christmas decoration instead.Hammacher won't send the correct item until the.incorrect item is returned.We'll see..so far. Not impressed.

No only store is in New York. This is the call center and distribution center. Have to shop online.
Call their order entry line and ask. Their customer service department is very efficient.
