Most Hyundai's that I've seen recommend using 5w 20. As your vehicle ages and the miles get up over 120000 Marcel it's not a bad idea to use something like 10w 30 or 5w 30. Generally speaking synthetic or a synthetic blend oil is not necessary unless the motor is force inducted, that is, supercharged or turbocharged. Synthetic oil holds up better under extreme conditions and high heat. That being said, you can get more miles out of synthetic oil then traditional oil sometimes about double.
