I can't rate this place highly enough. Management is responsive and reasonable. Maintenance is responsive. Door staff are the best. The location is near the red line, lake michigan, and the river. Like others have said, I have seen roaches outside of the building and in someplaces on the first floor, but never saw them in my apartment or in the hallways to my apartment. Overall I'm very happy with my experience at Asbury and would recommend to anyone looking for a place in River North.

The location of the place is a great spot to live, but the management is rude and sneaky. Make sure you take pictures of everything before moving in to capture the condition is in. They don’t charge a security deposit but will try to hit you with $400 worth of cleaning fees after you move out, providing you with a cleaning checklist once you’re practically moved out and turning in your keys. Washer/dryer always break after you put money and washing detergent in it. We also had eggs thrown at our door with a death threat and management proceeded to do nothing about.

Great location and nice front door staff. I also loved the 1 bedroom space. BUT this place has a roach issue. I lived there from 2020-2021 and was scared to do laundry because they would be littered throughout the inside of the laundry room often. They also would be outside of the laundry room door. I would also see them by the front entrance outside and by the front leasing office inside. All different types, mostly dead but some alive. Terrifying! My last 3 months, they started entering my apartment. I had two show up and it was horrible and I was so happy to leave. They did come spray my apartment each time and once maintenance killed one for me which was generous but still unacceptable for the price of the apartments. I didn’t pay full price because of COVID but the price did for back to normal once my lease ended. Beware of what you’re getting. The exterminator came once a week to the building and they still didn’t have it under control in the common areas and apparently the apartment. I would not recommend living here due to the bug issue.

BEST PLACE TO LIVE IN @ RIVER NORTH! I've lived at Asbury Plaza for 3 years now and I could not be happier! The building is in a great location and the Red Line is only one block away. The staff and maintenance are all friendly and extremely helpful. They even have some fun activities throughout the year that add to the community bonding of tenants. The apartments, although unfurnished, are absolutely amazing and the views are stunning. Great inclusive price with all the amenities you'd need. The laundry room, mail area, pool and gym are all out of this world! The building has only 3 elevators, but you can always reserve one if needed for move-in purposes, there's also a loading dock located in the back. Overall, I highly recommend the place. I absolutely love it here!
