They have always been so kind to me and every animal I brought it. I worked at Petco for five years and they were our go to, always adapting to our needs and helping us out whenever we called. I personally use them for my cats, they treated my very cranky kitty with kindness even when she didn’t and even went above and beyond to recommend things to do prior to her next vet visit to make it and calm and ways and possible. A Caring Vet is a very suiting name for this veterinary clinic.

We had our pet bunny spayed here and were send home with some pain medication and a cone for her to wear that would prevent picking at the incision. We were told that if she was not eating normally by the morning, to bring her back in. That was the case so we returned the next morning. They gave us some critical care to force feed her and directed us to feed her 7 ml a day. Come the next morning her conditions were worsening. It was Sunday, so A Caring Vet was closed. We were forced to find an emergency vet elsewhere. After the emergency vet evaluated our bunny’s current condition, we were informed that A Caring Vet had not prescribed her strong enough pain medication to ease our bunny’s pain and our bunny needed to be feed closers to 80 ml of critical care a day to receive all the nutrients she needs. We were also informed that a cone should almost never be used on a bunny as it will cause stress levels to rise doing more harm than good. We were told that a bunny with the correct pain medication dosage will usually not pick at the incision. If you have a bunny, I strongly recommend you take him/her elsewhere. While A Caring Vet will attend to bunnies, they do not seem knowledgeable in the proper post operative care that a bunny requires.

I will never have a bad thing to say about A Caring Vet. I am overjoyed that there is an honest, kind, and considerate establishment for me to take my fur babies to. I have seen every one of the doctors and they are all my favorite. The staff is exceptionally trained well and you can tell they have such a love for All animals. Please I ask all of you who love this place as much as I do to, to voice yourself. It is though our voice that these small and amazing businesses stay open.

I took my pup to a caring vet on a Saturday. He had been dealing with a cough for a few days. Other experiences I have had with vets have been let’s run tests and see what it could be. At a caring vet Dr peacock listened to me and my thoughts along with doing a great exam on cosmo. She gave him a few meds and we were on our way no expensive tests! I would highly recommend this office.

I don't believe, but you can talk to see if there is anyone.
Yes! We have 2 veterinarians who treat chickens. Karen Peacock DVM is available most days at A Caring Vet in Lindon while Eric K. Hansen DVM is often available at Pet Medical Services in Orem. If possible, please call ahead to make an appointment with one of them to make sure they are on duty.
Chabela's answer covers the basics pretty well! If you want further help beforehand feel free to give us a call at 801-785-6737 and we can explore other options to help you out. You can even schedule a face to face consult with one of our veterinarians (which will cost $55), without your pet present, so you and the vet can go over how best to treat your pet. Then there will be no charge when you bring your pet in for the 2nd step.
The last I was in I overheard a conversation they had and they did accept goats. So maybe they do now. I would give them a call. It never hurts to ask. ❤️ They are great with my little dogs and I would suggest them to anyone
The first question we would ask is if you have any doubts as to whether this is the right course of action, or if there may be other options to consider. It sounds like there may not be many options in your case, but we want to be certain you are certain to avoid making irreversible decisions we regret. If you want to consult with a veterinarian about options the charge for the consultation is $45.50. From there the charge for euthanasia of a rodent is an additional $45, which includes 2 stage euthanasia. So, the total would be $90.50 if you want to consult with a veterinarian, or only $45.00 if you have no doubts. These charges also include taking care of your pet's remains, if you don't want ashes back. If you want ashes back that is additional. 2 stage euthanasia involves an initial injection of medications to anesthetize him, followed by the 2nd stage to gently stop his heart and breathing. Please call 801-785-6737 if you have more questions.
Yes! This is a really great place to bring your animals, they are so nice and respectful of whatever your situation is.
It's best to visit or call them and they could probably tell you.
