WOW, just wow! I loved this hike. the trail was wonderful, the climb was moderate and the frequent views of Utah County were breathtaking. I highly recommend this hike.

Gorgeous views, a bit icy a half mile in before it transitions to packed snow.

We love that you don’t have to drive up a canyon to get to this trailhead. Then, once you get there, you have 3 trail options. A steep-ish one into the canyon, a lower trail into the canyon, and the Bonneville Shoreline Trail. We usually take the BST because it’s easy for young kids and has amazing views of the valley.

Pretty fun! Bring a camera, extra socks, hat and plenty of water. Saw some wild turkeys. Hiked up to the Lookout - could see Timp, Provo Canyon, the entire Utah Lake, clear up to the Point.
