Apartment unit #1021 Move-in Date: 07/28/2020 Move-out Date: 07/19/2022 I lived HERITAGE AT VALLEY RANCH APARTMENTS FOR 2 YEARS. I returned the property to them broom clean, normal wear and tear excepted. they need to understand that they will have to do more cleaning of tubs, sinks, floors, or walls as a part of getting ready for the next tenant. They can’t be expected to return the property in pristine condition. Also everything in the kitchen i left nice and clean working conditions. i have video and pictures. 20$ cleaning fridge charges. i already cleaned. 20$ cleaning stove charges. i already cleaned. Kitchen countertop respray is not even dirty but you guys trying to charge me all countertop respray 225 dollars. Bathroom countertop respray 100$. TOTAL CHARGE IS 900$ .They are charging 900$ in damage when I left the apartment nice and clean, needing few paint touch on walls like 4 tiny spots maybe. When a tenant moves out there is a level of cleaning that is expected from the tenant, but this is way too much. i am ready to escalate this issue as high as it needs to go in order to get solve this unfair charges

I want to give negative stars. This is the worst apartment I ever lived in my life, Never ever go and lease the apartment. During my stay I faced so many issues and raised concerns. None of them are addressed. I waited and vacated the apartment after my lease on June 28th 2021. I wrote many emails regarding the forwarding address and leaving the apartment. as I didn't get any response , I drove from austin and went to leasing office for the confirmation . They mentioned everything is good and my deposit covered everything. After an year, On Jul 17, 2022 I have received a letter from debt collector asking to pay 250$. I was shocked and it is now affecting my credit history. I tried to call these people, they never picked my phone. It is creating unnecessary chaos and mental stress to me. I never wrote any review in any forum though I have faced lot of things in this apartment but this made be stressed. Please dont lease or step into the apartment.

If I could give this place a negative 1 I definitely would. I applied there after one of the workers named Courtney told me that I would get qualified. I told her the situation she said that she would definitely get me in just to get denied a couple of days later. I paid all the fees I was suppose to. When it came to giving me back my deposit they stated it will take 30 days. Another worker said they had just mailed it. I haven’t received anything and it’s been 30 days. I called the property no answer. I called and emailed the property manager Rigo Madrid no answer. I call every couple of days for them to forward me to the answering service. I asked for corporates number for them to tell me they don’t have that Information. This place is very unorganized. I just want to know the status of my refund. Instead I have to call different numbers multiple times to still get no answer or help.

TLDR: New office staff, committed to making change, hopefully great things on the horizon for the community. I have lived here for 2 years. In that 2 years, I have never once had a good experience with office staff and normally left with me walking out in angry tears because of how DISRESPECTFULLY I was treated. It was to the point that I quit contacting the office, not like they ever answered the phone anyways. So today when I needed to go to the office to talk with them, I was dreading it with every fiber of my being. However, when I walked in I was met with a pleasant and friendly greeting, which is already different. Then I met with Colin, who is absolutely amazing! I was having such a bad and stressful day but Colin was able to turn that frown upside down (yeah I said what I said XD). He is so friendly, energetic, and willing to listen. He didn't make me feel like I was bothering him or wasting his time by coming in. In speaking with the new property manager and Colin, they told me that they are committed to making the living experience at Heritage at Valley Ranch the best they can and they really want to make a difference, even if its one resident at a time. They have new maintenance, new landscapers, new pest control, they are starting to have community events again, fixing the pool area, and listening to residence feedback on any other issue. The new office team have been there for about a month. They understand that things here have not been great, and in some respects, completely unacceptable, but they are committed to changing that and making Heritage at Valley Ranch the best community in Valley Ranch.
