Gold is purchased at a pawn shop for either scrap which is it’s melted liquid weight minus the fee that they charge you ) usually for the current market 10k is semi worthless ($26/gm). $40 a gram for 585 14k karat gold which is technically only half gold… pure 24k gold …. Which really exists rarely in jewelry because it makes it too soft and malleable.. it just breaks! I love the guy who owns the shop and gives good prices for your scrap unwanted stuff. Don’t pawn generational wealth! Duh!
