Quiet and relaxing campground. Very responsive city clerk that makes sure everything is going well at the campgrounds. The whole community was great. It's only 1 block from the Root River Trail. The small restaurant in Peterson has great food and a home town feel. 5 miles from Rushford where you can get any groceries you need. We're definitely going to be back. Thank you city of Peterson.

Very nice campground. Late in the season and during the week, so we had it to ourselves. Great price for full hookups of water, electric and sewer. Right next to the Root River State Trail.
