An Iowa gem! We loved this place. The new manager, Court, was really friendly. They had activities planned for the family, and an awesome water trampoline. Although, I have to say, the ice cream was favorite! Will definitely come back!

Very peaceful campground, in the historic beautiful Iowa countryside. Very nice pond, located close to interstate 80, however not too close as you can barely hear it, at least from out spot anyway. They made an error on our reservation, and I had to do some talking to get it made right, however Alicia E was a kind considerate professional, and went above and beyond to make things right. The pool is under remodel, and that was really the only downer.

I am employee here and love working here. Even though it is right next to the highway, it is so peaceful in the morning to sit on the edge of the pond next to the flowers and watch the family of ducks just pedal along. The staff I work with are so kind and willing to do whatever it takes to make the customer happy. If you get the chance, stop on by and see for yourself how beautiful and family friendly this park really is.

We were excited to come to Beyonder Getaway at Sleepy Hollow since it had such great reviews on the Sam Good website, also we are fairly new to RV'ing. Upon checking in I was told where my camp site was and given a map. Everything seemed to be going great. After hooking up our trailer the water was not working. Called front desk to find out if something was wrong, at that point I was told water was off due to the freezing temps. I paid for a full hook up site. I would not have been upset if I had been told at check in, because I could have went to fill up my water tanks before unhitching. Customer service was nonexistent. Instead of being offered another camp site with water, I was given a script of, we will turn the water back on after it is not freezing overnight for a few days. I have read other reviews on the campsite stating they didn't have water, and they were offered another another campsite. There are plenty open spaces available. I know that we will never stay here again. If you are a person of color stay away, they will not accommodate you here.

Kayak in the pond is not advertised since there is no dock. It is ok but no kids alone passed the swim ropes. :>) To answer the golf cart question, yes campers can bring their golf carts but each season they need to be registered each season and proof of insurance is required. Thanks
Melinda's answer is good I think really 10 miles away for the first part of the Amana colonies. :>) Call if we can help with a reservation. 319.828.4900
Yep, pretty decent price. Just stop in and ask at the desk, they are great people : )
Hi, yes we are open year round. Most of our monthly rates are $500 a month plus some utilities charged based on usage. Call the store directly for more information. 319.828.4900. Thanks, AlidaLee

There are a small number of tent sites with fire rings and picnic tables. Not very level and 1 of the tent areas is right by the dump station which I know now to avoid next time.
Website will have it! But might be booked depending on when you are coming!
Set up primarily for drive through RV but each camp site has flat area suitable for tents. Ask when you reserve but the best would be on the upper range north of the restrooms and swimming pool. These are farthest from any interstate traffic, fairly private and back to farm corn or bean acres. This time if year, like magic w fireflies along the field edge!
I believe it has. The new owners have been making a lot of improvements.
