Great state park, good boat launch on Black lake, campground is nice, bathrooms n showers are good, beach is rocky, but whatever. The best thing is the people ya meet there. Staff has always been great. There is a rustic cg on the north side too.

Enjoyed fishing several days on Black Lake this summer. Boat ramp is good. Public bathroom next to the parking and boat ramp. Fishing is good. Gorgeous views! We'll definitely be going back again.

Lovely park, dog friendly, child friend, family friendly. Beautiful water and clean bathroom/shower area. Fire wood and starters available. Fire pits and electric hook ups available. Boat ramp and beach. Plots are close to each other, easy to get signed in, friendly staff. Beautiful part of Michigan

Nice park, basic amenities. Kids could fish easily from beach area and boat dock. Great trails for family hikes and morning runs. Showers were private and awesome

June, July, August, and some of September.
We just camped at a tent site and it was just a normal plug. I believe there was a camper/rv outlet as well, but since we just had a tent, I wasn't paying close attention. Do bring an extension cord. Many of the sites are uneven and the box may be a ways away from where you would put a tent.
I have one of the cabin from a couple days ago, but not the inside.
Sites are on the smaller side. You can definitely get a camper and boat on the site if you are fine with having limited space. We fit one camper/one tent with decent room. If you fit the boat on the edge of the site should be fine There is a boat launch
There are many old trees, especially cedar trees. Apparently a couple came down in last weekends storm.
Yes, beautiful place to camp at. Reservations are highly recommend. Might be mandatory. Give them a call.
