Yes! Close enough to the cities with that small town vibe. Great trails, views

Amazing and easy trail!! Lots of wildlife to see! We saw a fawn, red squirrels, rabbits, cardinals, bluebirds, goldfinch, and a muskrat. There are plenty of "rest areas" along the trail - some with bathrooms and many with air stations on plus tools. We didn't make it the full stretch but hope to work our way to do the roundtrip endeavor. It was a great way to spend a hot summer day! ***Important info: Bring $5 for a daily trail pass and plenty of water/snacks - there were no spots to get water the 9 miles we rode on the trail."***

Boy Scout Troop 270 from Rosemount picked (garlic mustard) for our service project. Very nice people that were volunteers also were helpful. Thank you

Really nicely maintained paved trail. We took all our kids. It's definitely narrow (so we were saying, "stay over!" a lot). But it was a great place to ride with young kids, terrain-wise. Good spots to stop and play, too. Our kids enjoyed playing along the river even though it was super chilly water.

No, but they are allowed on the city trails around Cannon Falls. And there's a lovely 2-3 mile grassy trail where a lot of dog owners take dogs walking/running near the campground at Lake Byllesby (very close to town).
