Incredible experience! I first went here in my freshman year as a fun thing to do with my friends. I’d never been to a haunted house and I’d always wanted to try. After my first trip through, I was already excited to come back next year! Needless to say, the attraction is fantastic and a great way to celebrate Halloween with friends! I come back every year now. The location is great, the decor is superb, and the ambience is just right- a communal Halloween activity at its finest. The actors are perfect- well-outfitted and committed to their roles and definitely make the experience (the ones outside will usually take a picture with you if you ask). I absolutely love this attraction and it’s definitely worth the ticket price. I was actually pleasantly surprised at how long the attraction was the first time I went. The scares are absolutely perfect too. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a great Halloween with friends. However, the attraction is rated for adults for a reason. This is not a place for children or those who are squeamish. Overall, this is a fantastic time best enjoyed with friends. 10/10, highly recommended.

As an experienced haunted house adventurer, I gotta say that this is one of the best. 3rd time going in the past two years, and it was fantastic! I don't get scared that much anymore with everything I've seen, but when a guy runs at you head on with a baseball bat, you get spooked. It was great!! You expect things creeping up behind you and popping out from walls, but you can never prepare yourself for things coming at you from the front. Great experience, and I'll be coming back again next year for my fourth visit!!

Fun, fun and fun! Worth the drive from Atlanta. The whole atmosphere from getting there is excellent and the whole team puts up a great show. Keep up the good work! will come back next year :)

I first went to Scarehouse of the South two years ago and was blown away! The place ROCKS due to the fact that it's in the middle of nowhere and the external stimuli is very visceral and REAL. While you're in line waiting to get in, your ears are serenaded with beautiful sounds, think hard rock and heavy metal. Once I got in, it was a very AWESOME experience to say the least. Surprise around every corner. I absolutely loved it. Don't walk too fast in there, enjoy it. IT WAS SPOOKTACULAR! Update: The 2017 season at Scare House of the South was totally awesome. They added a new attraction and the tour takes close to twenty minutes now. They have really outdone themselves this time and there is a scare around every corner. The best keeps getting better. Can't wait for the 2018 season to get here! Highly recommended.

No...unfortunately
Because the people who work the haunted house have main jobs and families too. This is a labor of love for them, not a cash cow
We will let them In but if they come out traumatized it's not our fault

They are open rain or shine and they reply quickly on Facebook messenger
They are open even when it's rainning

Yes
Should be.
When I went it was a recommendation not a requirement as long as you don't look like 6 or 7 years old you should be fine, but be prepared.
Its a walkthrough. You'll be sent through in groups of 5-10 people. The actors will mess with you, some may grab you but not hard enough to hurt, more so just enough to get your attention. Its pretty intense. Read the website FAQ. That'll give you a better idea.
For 2017, it was the 28th of October.
For 2017 it was about 20 minutes.
Both
They would like for you to be at least 18. It's Rated R.
