If they only cared about the patients that actually had a broken bone and prescribed medication accordingly thank God I didn't break my neck then I wouldn't have prescriptions at all

Thank you so much Riean! I’m terrified of needles but you helped me get up to date on my vaccinations! It was as painless as possible and I was out the door before I knew it! I also didn’t notice the cute band-aids until I got home, but it made me happy!

i had an allergic reaction at the infusion center, and i just wanna say that everyone was absolutely so helpful and attentive. they did everything they could to make sure that i’m okay even after closing hours for their floor. always so appreciative of Denver Health.

Emergency Room staff is wonderful, but the hospital is money hungry. I checked into the emergency room after hitting my head, and the intake nurse was very nice, but told me she did not feel I needed to be there. We decided together that I would simply turn around and leave. I was then charged $681. I never got beyond the waiting room. Denver Health reviewed my bill and decided I still owed all $681, so I am appealing with insurance. I am unsure in what way Denver Health is out $681 worth of services for me sitting in their waiting room. I will never return

Denver Health is really big on family participation and visitation. So as long as your respectful and cooperative with them you can visit 24/7. The main entrance doors lock at 8:00, but you can access thru emergency entrance. No matter what pavilion or ward.
Yes, you absolutely can! We have both inpatient and outpatient behavioral health services, and we take Medicare. If you are having an emergency, please call 911.
Hi Eric! Our Good Day Café is located in the basement of Pavilion A and provides complete meal services. Specialty coffees, snacks, salads and sandwiches are sold at the Main Street Café Coffee Shop, which is located within the Good Day Cafe. There are plenty of seating options there for you to take advantage of. There is also a Subway located on the First floor of Pavilion B.
Hi Paul. You can call our Appointment Center to make an appointment. Since Google prohibits us from providing a phone number in our answer, you can easily find the number on our website.
Well Karen!!! you have to realize the world dont revolve around just you, the denver health employees ,on all departments are dealing with different senerios situations, a pandemic a nation wide short staffing, on top of that the rapidly growing denver population , with those current factors in play it brings all sorts of obstacles challenges on a whole range of topics good and bad spanning the entire spectrum of the human condition and healthcare so if they give you slow service its nothing personal denver health is still a very excellent hospital if not one of the best and i happen to have Love and respect for every worker from every department.. they are some hard workers with strong will powers super awesome💙💙💙 kept it up Denver health , always sincerely A friend

Are the vaccinations for the second dose given in the pharmacy lab?
Hi Raymond. You cannot call directly to a room. You can call Patient Information and ask to be connected to a certain patient. You can call Patient Information between 7:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m., Monday-Friday, or 7:30 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. on weekends. During all other times, please call the main hospital number. Since Google does not allow us to post phone numbers here, you can find both of those numbers on our website. Thanks!
Hi Biatrice. You should be able to, but always ask the nurse or call us to ensure there aren't special visiting hours or precautions if you have any questions.

Hi Madelayne. You can look at the different ways to order one (mail, phone and online) at the website for Denver Public Health. Google doesn't allow us to put links in phone numbers in our responses, but just google "Denver Health birth certificate" and it should come right up. Thanks!
You can request your records anytime. Just fill out our Authorization to Release/Receive Patient Health Information on our website on the Medical Records page. Email or fax that form to obtain your records. The number and email you need to send the form to are on the form. Thanks!

They will help you sign up for Medicaid, but if you don't qualify for that, then they will most likely put you on a payment plan. In a true emergency they won't turn you away

You can read it and also learn more about insurance, charity care and financial assistance programs by looking up "insurance" on the Denver Health website. Both Denver Health and Children’s Hospital are verified by the American College of Surgeons as Pediatric Trauma Centers. Denver Health is designated as a Level 2 center and Children’s is a level 1 center. The main difference between a level 1 and a level 2 center is the number of patients treated. Both programs, when compared across national benchmark standards, have similar quality outcomes.
