I had a weave disaster at another salon on 9/16. I booked with Fashion at the last minute on 9/28. Needless to say, it’s a completely different weave! I love my hair!!! Thank you so much for everything, Fashion!!! - NiNi

Fashion is an amazing stylist. My install is beautiful; I love it, my friends love it. As soon as they saw me they said “you need to go back to her for all of your installs” (and of course I will). My appointment went extremely well. I came on time, Fashion started on time and ended on time. Fashion is very friendly and funny; I was entertained during my entire stay in her cozy salon. By the way, when you book your appointment, you are guaranteed one on one time with Fashion. There are no other clients waiting around and it is more of a private service. Fashion was very gentle with my hair - no tight braiding and no pulling. She knows what she is doing, she is very careful and she is on it. I got the exact style I wanted and I am really happy. In the end I was looking amazing, I came with my lashes and eyebrows done, so all I needed was my hair to be laid and Fashion did just that.

It's very hard these days to find a stylist who will do your hair and have you leaving the salon feeling confident. Fashion does a great job making you feel comfortable while providing great service. I have gone twice now (and will continue booking with her from now on) and both times as soon as I arrived, we got started. Each time it took a little less than 2 hours for the install and style. On my second visit, I purchased brazilian hair from Fashion via the website. It was so simple and when I arrived for my appointment the hair was ready and labeled with my name. I love that this is an option because I no longer have the time or patience to try to figure out if a vendor is selling quality hair. I love the hair I purchased from Fashion and it blends great with my straightened natural hair. Two things that I want to mention are the take down and the actual braids used for the sew in. When I took out my first install, it was the easiest time I ever had removing a sew in. The braids were not on top of each other and most of the thread was used to sew the hair down NOT braids. She mainly used my own hair for the braids so this made it a lot easier to take down and I had no tangles. I can also say when the initial braids were done, I felt no pain at all. I can be a bit tender headed and I think most of us are use to getting a sew in and knowing it's going to hurt. Fashion braids quickly and very gentle but the braids are still extremely neat. I've never experienced that before. When I initially went to her, I wanted to get a braidless sew in because I wanted to avoid braids. Due to my hair type, she suggested that I get a traditional sew in and assured me that her braids would not hurt. I was skeptical at first but now I see the light lol once the hair is sewn on, there is still no pressure or pain. 10/10 recommend

I've been going to Fashion since 2016. I've had weaves and some wigs done. I am blessed that I was able to afford to stay home for the entire pandemic so I barely wore the wigs as I've been wearing braids. I just wanted to purchase wigs from Fashion because they look nice. Always a great job and I've been pleased with her work. Last week some appointments became available for this week. I made an appointment. I've recently suffered a bad fall with injuries to my legs. Sometimes my legs lock on me with no warning making it impossible for me to walk, lift, or bend my leg. My legs usually lock while Im sleeping which wake me up with great pain. Happened to me at 3 this morning. I wanted my hair done so bad that I still tried to make my appointment. When I realized that I couldn't, I messaged Fashion hoping that she could get another client because I understand that she runs a business. The reply was her policy that I would need to pay a $75 cancelation fee along with a PayPal payment link. I thought the reply was pretty cold. I guess that I should have crawled to my appointment. In 6 years, I've never canceled service with her and I travel from out of state. I was also bringing my wigs for service and about to order 2 more. I guess that she's so financially well off that she doesn't care about losing long term clients. REPLY TO OWNERS RESPONSE: I see that the reply was a business move to make the situation look better than it was. When I texted my situation, I was sent a PayPal payment link. You didn't state that you were splitting a cancelation fee with me until after I posted my review. The last visit to your salon was not five years ago(I have pics on my IG with the date that will disprove this) but I guess you need to downplay the situation for your benefit. If I haven't been to the salon in 5 years, why would you rush my wigs? I'm a very reasonable person and if it had gone like you said, we wouldnt be experiencing this right now. Especially since we haven't before. Thank you for allowing me to see what I needed to see. In your line of business, there are many with talent so I will take my business where I'm valued. This isn't about $75, it's about the reply. By the way, I became a client in 2016, you increased your price from $180 to $220 for a weave install so the price increase was not 9 years ago.
