Nice place for a walk & a lesson in plants. With a $5 donation, we toured much of the acreage & spent time with the nicest Botanist. This place appears to be run by volunteers so you can feel the passion by talking with any of them. It is of course, all outdoors so plan your day accordingly. I hoped the butterfly garden would have been an indoor section with butterflies all around but it was just a selection of butterfly attracking plants. The corpus plant was close to Blooming but not quite ready. Cool plant & they even extended their hours so more could view it. Overall it was a good visit. Handicap accessible.

This is one of the most beautiful places to have an adventure! Hiking, shaded area for a picnic, and beautiful gardens!

Our first time here and it was a great experience. Good walk/hike. Saw hawks and condors, rabbit, koi fish, turtle, different birds and butterflies. Will definitely be back. 💕🦋🌷🌳

I cannot believe I have lived in the area for 10 years, and have never been here before. It was a great place to walk around, chat with some one you love, and be outside in nature. I will be back for sure. Oh and its cheap too. Better in the morning when its cooler.

Yes. Just don't bring alot of people.
Its free to get in but there is a "suggested donation" of i think $5 per person.
Yes
No lake but you can picnic there.
You can have professional photos done, but I believe they require a $50 donation/fee.
Sorry, I don't think it would be allowed.
Most trails would be difficult, there is one that stays along the bottom. You should see for yourself, but if she enjoys the outdoors it could be just what she needs.
Yes the hours are Monday thru Friday 9am to 12pm. The parking cost $2 per hour and there is no cost go in but a donation is appreciated when you leave.
A simple walk through the Garden talks about an hour, less if you take a shorter route and more if you take your time along the way.
No, they are closed on Labor Day. On main page of their website, they have the closure dates at the bottom.
Not sure the time but you would only pay for parking, cash (exact) or card. & sorry dont remember how much, I think I paid 2 hours for $8, you can also donate.
It is free to get in the garden, however parking is around $4-$5. And there is a time limit of a couple of hrs.
No. There's a sign near the entry advising you of no plant/tree etc " sampling" to take home... Also, FYI, unfortunately Dogs are Not allowed.
