All the sites are electric only, but they do have city water available as soon as you enter the park which we used to fill up our freshwater tank. There is also a dump station to use when you leave. We only stayed for two nights so this was a perfect spot. Very close to Dubuque. There’s also a casino right around the corner. We had a site with a river view that we enjoyed. Watched tug boats and barges go by as well as a river cruise boat. Picnic tables and fire rings at all the sites. There were tent sites as well. Gravel sites were fairly level.

I don't know what I enjoyed more, all the obnoxious diesel trucks reving their engines as they were driving through the park at all hours of the night, or the lady at the campsite next to us loudly and annoyingly laughing at mid night, keep in mind the website says 10pm quiet time is strictly enforced. Or maybe it was the corn filled human dookie in the corner of the shower that was my favorite thing about this experience. Hmm I don't know what I liked most. (Nice water and bridge view though)

Beautifully situated right on the Mississippi River, I experienced a beautiful Sunrise, @ a boat parade. The sites are super affordable with restrooms and showers, Boat/Kayak Loading dock about 1/2 mile away ( I went Kayaking) I really enjoy my stay here.

An electric campsite for $18 a night on the river!? Especially love that we are able to bike into town and explore the city of Dubuque. Also very much enjoy spending mornings and evenings relaxing by the river. I we use our RV amenities & So I can't comment on the bathroom and shower houses. They have city water to to fill and dump station . Sites are cozy , and luckily we've always had good neighbors. Lots of ittle prices of junk along the shore, so kind interesting to see what we can find. RAngers who checked me in were are super nice as well.

It was anytime but ran from 3 to 3. Haven't been there yet this year. They have a website under City of Dubuque. Their website says closed until further notice due to flooding.
You get a campsite without a check in.But there is alot of cruising of vehicles up and down front road and sheriff's car came while we stayed a male individual was riding a bike up and down yelling obscenities and trying to grab females walking not really a nice park and power source melted our plug protector
There is a watering station
They are never open do to flooding all the time they are permanently closed
Please call them. I'm someone that had camped there last year.
Not at the park. There are two City ramps Within two to three blocks that you can use.
