Bought a treadmill and I'm so thrilled with the purchase! Works perfectly and staff there are fantastic! I wish I could give more stars than 5.

They have a assortment of miscellaneous items from furniture to medical equipment at amazing prices

MSU property disposition is run much better than this. They have pictures of the stuff, prices posted and online shopping. UM on the other hand is trying to sell stuff sight unseen using silent auctions ever since the pandemic.

Fair pricing.

No, they don't seem to deliver
It varies all the time. Sometimes we do, sometimes we don't. My best advice is to check in on a weekly basis on Thursday afternoon/Friday morning to see what's in at the moment.
Yeah but not right now because Covid.
They do from time to time typically at the beginning of the school year. Most of the beds that are sold are sent to MR STOR IT in Westland. They sell the bed sets, dressers and desks at very reasonable prices
It varies by the type and original cost. As I understand it, they process things based upon some fraction of the original cost.
The stock varies day to day. You'll have to check. Depend upon what buildings they are renovating
They don't buy anything from the public. If you're part of a department at U-M, you can file a surplus form or another appropriate form with U-M Finance: Procurement Services. If you go to the procurement services UMich site, you'll find the disposition center information under "Property and Space Management". Once you file the appropriate paperwork, they the center will sell your department's network switches (or whatever else), take a portion of the sale as a fee to cover the costs of selling your department's stuff, and send the rest to your department through whatever shortcode you provided when first filing a form for surplus departmental equipment. Again, if you're not with a department of the university, they're not going to take your stuff, buy it from you, or sell it for you. I hope this helps.
Public hours: Monday, 12:30-6:00pm; Tuesday & Wednesday, 12:30-4:00pm; Thursday, 8:00-11:30am; closed Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Hours may change during holiday weeks.
Rugs are not a common item but they have been there from time to time. Just visit to check, don't call.
They may but my experience is that something like a bulk lot of anything will come up for bid rather than be sold at fixed price.
I don't recommnd callinh, just visit. The staff are sales-minded and will outright lie. The inventory system doesn't record details that specific... it will only say if it is a desk, or table, or file cabinet, etc because price is determined by category. A nice desk and a cheap desk cost the same.
I think there's much better inventory control today than in the past. But Apple equipment does seem to go Fairly High fairly quick
Yes they do have some tools
Occasionally. I recommend calling before visiting if that's what you're looking for.
Not typically- they sell UM purchased stuff.
