American Fork Hospital, why do you seem to respond to nearly all reviews, but apparently not any that mention Lone Peak Anesthesia? You allow them to work in your hospital despite their unethical and downright fradulent billing practices. Hundreds if not thousands of us have now received suprise collections notices from them months or years after the fact. Are you willing to make any attempt to make this right?

My friend had a very serious stroke. The ER nurses thought she was making up her symptoms and said there’s no way she had a stroke because “she’s too young.” They were rude to me and my friend and took over 2 hours to get her into a head scan. Then took almost 2 more hours to get the results. She then had to be taken to another hospital for higher acuity care due to how severe her stroke was. My friend would have had a much better recovery with fewer deficits had the ER actually done their job. As a nurse, the way the ER treated me and my friend just disgusts me and I think they all deserve to loose their jobs. You are NEVER too young to have a stroke and if they don’t know that then they shouldn’t be working in this field. I’m trying to convince my friends dad to sue the hospital. The whole ER staff should be ashamed of themselves and I really hope they know how badly they have ruined lives due to their negligence and incompetence.

I wish that I could give more stars as far as receiving care it was a great experience. However, when it comes to billing it has been a nightmare!!! We have tried calling several times, and they keep telling us we will get called back within 48 with no call back. Then when we call in we keep getting someone that tells us we can wait 48 hours or go back to the queue to wait for an agent. We have currently gone through the queue 8 time and been on hold for an over an hour. Terrible experience when it comes to billing!
