Nice hike up to beautiful views. Slightly challenging in places with rocks/small boulders to go over. Nice changes in elevation.

A good variety of trails with some elevation and nice view south from top of strawberry hill where you can see Philly skyscrapers on a clear day. If you want a good workout the yellow trail will do. The blue trail up from the fiddlers creek lot has a short section with stone steps which require some agility. The red trail is serene although trees heavily damaged from a 2021 tornado as is part of the blue trail. The white trail from the pleasant valley lot follows the ridge so less elevation change and easier to hike. Stay on the trails and keep your dogs leashed given the rare wildlife in this area.

Just beginning to hike this, did the red route and it was fun. Need to get more familiar.

Nice hike with a view of the Washington Crossing Bridge at the meadow. Went all the at down to Rt 29 then back up. Pretty good climb coming back up.

Questions & Answers

Are all trails open now? Which are closed?

The NW Loop and Pleasant Valley Trails are closed. The Switchback Trail is listed as closed but is open from the summit to at least the switchback. Summit Trail is open and passes through one of the tornado tracks, extensive forest damage from about 50 feet in to the stone steps. The damage extends from at least the main driveway to Fiddler's Creek Road.

Lots of rocks to climb on. Make sure you have a sure footed dog. Or one you can tuck under your arm
