We had a wonderful time going on the train and then stopping after 20 minutes and picking apples at a nearby Orchard. We stopped for about 20 minutes and picked apples with our granddaughter who's two. She loved it!! We then got back on the train and rode it back to the station. It was just a lovely lovely day.

Great time out there. Bridge was out, so we had to detour. But, still a great ride Wish my Dad was still around. He would have enjoyed it

WK&S Railroad is a really great place to visit for railroaders both young and old. The staff and volunteers are to be commended for their friendly and helpful demeanor. They really work hard to provide a truly wonderful family oriented experience. They have a lot of special train excursions with special themes that are a lot of fun. They are located in a beautiful country setting where time seems to have stood still. They also have a very large H-O scale operating train display in an old caboose to see when you visit. A must visit day trip for everyone.

I don't know but it's a wonderful train ride
If you have kids it's totally worth it, they will definitely love it. Personally I think it's a little pricey, especially for kids over 3....but I understand the costs that go with running it all. I took my great grandson on the Santa Claus train ride and he still talks about it....and got tickets for the Easter Bunny train and he can't wait. Yes, so to me it's worth every penny....

Yes, they are raising money to rebuild their steam engine. I'm sure that they would appreciate any help that anyone can provide.
