Im one of the few tenets who been here since it got fixed up 2 yrs ago and i tell you ive seen a fair share property managers come and go. The property manager we have now has Inherited a bag of issues and problems from the previous managers. She has alot on her plate. From just living here from two years ago at first it was amazing then the owners sold the property and since then you can see the apartments going downward week by week. But now it looks like its coming back to life. This new manager is very nice and from talking to her i can tell she likes to get things done she hasn't been here long but i can see improvement on the property which has not happend in over 15 monthes and the past 15 months has not been a smile. But now it looks like these apartments are coming back to life. The environment is at ease and now we canngo into the office now without being threatened to be evicted because you need something fixed or ask for an air filter. I know it does not sound good but thats the way it was but now i see its a new beginning. So thanks to the new manager and i know folks will understand that change does not happen overnight. It seems like work is in progress and i would encourage management to keep up the good work.

I see some of the negative reviews on here. While it is true that there were a few different managers over the last few months, The newest manager has done the best job since Gail. Anyone who looks at the property can clearly see that a great deal of work has been done to make the grounds more attractive. Also, work orders are answered and completed within a very timely manner. A few of the negative reviews that I see on here are from people who think that they are entitled to something. Or, the one lady who was complaining about the current manager failed to say that she was the one with her husband out there causing a scene trying to assault people and the police got called and her husband was arrested in the public area. Perhaps instead of complaining so much, be thankful for the improvements that have occurred. Perhaps you should take a moment to thank the property manager and his crew. Part of the problem with so much overturn is likely a result of residents just like you who do nothing but constantly complain and run these managers into the ground. Who wants to go to work every day just hear people whine and complain. Grow up and act like some adults. And of course, pay your rent on time and you wouldn’t have your problems.

Nexus Urban Living is a terrific place to live. The manager, David, is very caring, professional and highly skilled. He took over the property a few months ago and has done amazing things. . He has a good maintenance team and the units are being renovated. It is comforting to know they are on call 24 hours. I put a couple of prospects there in the last couple months and my clients are very happy. It is also an easy commute downtown. There are a variety of floor plans 1, 2 and 3 bedrooms) and and the apartments have granite countertops and new appliances. Some even have little yards. The best part is you do not have to mow them! They are reasonably priced. I highly recommend this property and the manager, if you are looking in the area for reasonably priced, a lot of value for your money and quiet neighborhood, this is a great option! I will continue to recommend Nexus Urban Living to my clients. Demi Xidas Licensed Real Estate Agent Texas Relocation Experts

UPDATE TO THE UPDATE: Previous property manager did NOTHING to maintain the curb appeal for the property or handle maintence repairs. The team only lasted all of 4 months. The current property manager David has aggressively attacked all the issues including cleaning up the property!! All the riff raft that was growing has been addressed and handled including repair issues. I’ve been here over a year now and am still content living here. David and his team are crazy and fun to joke around with. Thank you David and team did ALL you do!!! UPDATE: Property management has changed. Environment has been frustrating and communication isn’t the greatest. I hope in time things will settle down and the property will return to cleanliness in appearance and peace & quiet. These apartments are nicely refurbished and price is not bad, it just needs to be kept up. Let’s see what happens in time when new management settles in. ******* Been living here 6th months. The apartments are nicely refurbished. Property is nicely maintained though it would be nice if some of the pet owners would clean up after their pets and some of the renters would take their trash to the dumpster. Property maintenance isn’t here to be your janitor. Just saying. Old property manager wasn’t the greatest but the individual is no longer here. The new Prop Mgr, Ms. Debra, is AWESOME! Price is fair and reasonable considering you get granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances. I’ve paid more for an apartment that had faux countertops and black appliances. Though I miss the W&D it had but The laundry facility here is nicely Kept. Overall it’s fairly quiet if you can ignore the train. LOL Thank you Nexus and Staff for keeping our living space clean and livable. FYI....Ms. Gail is also awesome!! She was very helpful and welcoming since day 1 !!!
