At the cafe the food is only a step above fast food. Very limited menu.. Mostly burgers. Served in baskets with disposable cutlery. Prices are high which you would expect since it is one of the very few options in the park. My wife was excited to try the cobbler but terribly disappointed that it arrived more like soup and was bitter. She didn't even eat more than 2 bites. Service and cleanliness is below par. On the positive side we were seated quickly despite arriving at peak time and they have outdoor seating. The gift shop is nice and my kids liked that they have huckleberry candy sticks for just 75 cents each.

We had couple of lunches and couple of dinners here during our trip. They may be the only place to sit and eat on west side of the park. They have sit down place for food and ice cream place on the side of the restaurant. There is always a wait if you want to sit outside and enjoy some beautiful views of lake and mountains. Inside usually doesn’t have any wait time. Food is great. Their Thai wrap was the best among various things we tried. Desert has huckleberry cobbler and huckleberry pie which are must have. I gained about 3-5 pounds even after ton of hiking so I guess I enjoyed the deserts too much. Parking can be tough but with some patience you will find one. I think they are open late. I remember having a late night dinner which was almost 9 pm.

Went for a breakfast here and the food are good. I got the Going to the sun classic breakfast and it hit the spot for a cold morning day. The Ice cream is also a good choice for a warm afternoon kind of day. I had the huckleberry single scoop on a waffle cone and that cost me $6.10. I like the ice cream so much, so I was a little bummed when I found out that Cascade's (the brand they sold) huckleberry ice cream are not made with real huckleberry 🥲

Great little stop. Friendly staff (Danut) delicious food and drinks. We had burgers, kids had huckleberry lemonade which they loved. Also the huckleberry peach cobbler with vanilla ice cream was delicious. View from the restaurant is beautiful too. Nice little break to grab a bite, chat and plan the rest of the afternoon. Highly recommend.

You should call Eddie's cafe & gifts directly for this type of question.
Eddie's Cafe is about a 10 minute walk from Village Inn at Apgar.
Eddie’s restaurant will close at the end of September , the Mercantile will close mid October.
They get their product from FSA distributor. It's called Columbia Valley Farms for the ice cream.
