The room had a amazing view out of our window. It was like a step back in time to simpler times. No TV no internet. Tiny but was perfect for us two. The only reason we’re giving two stars is because we had no hot water for the two nights we stayed there. The first night we got there my wife took a shower in semi cold water and a few minutes later I went it was freezing cold water. On Friday morning same thing: cold water. I went and complained at the front desk Friday afternoon after a tour we went on. The young ladies at the front desk told me there was one water heater for the entire building takes shower when no one there. Friday night same thing cold water. When we went to check out Saturday morning and complained again of the water. The front desk lady told us there was various complaints and said she would see about getting some kind of discount or refund, but we have not heard anything or received any follow-up communication. Our neighbors were also complaining about the situation. It’s great to stay inside the park but may as well just stay in a tent if the hotel rooms’ amenities aren’t working.

We stayed for four nights, and really enjoyed ourselves. The old timey atmosphere blended well with the location and people. Definitely would return Negatives Tiny room with pretty thin walls Hot water didnt work at first No wifi (youre in a natnl park, deal with it) Positives Super responsive staff that fixed water issue asap Amazing view of the river from the room The sound of rain on the roof Great location within walking distance of visitor center, diner, and ranger talks

Really like this place. The cabins are pretty small with only the essentials and if there are a number of people in your group, there is a lack of a spot to gather.

Spent 4 nights in one of the cabins and I couldn’t be happier with our choice to stay here! Ben from Florida checked us in and he was super nice and helpful during our stay. The cabin was clean, cozy and had the basics of what we needed. We had an amazing “picture view” of the water. I love that everything you need in the village is in walking distance, but you are tucked away from the crowd for privacy. Can’t wait to come back one day!
