Today I had a dentist appt. at the Halsted facility. The dentist asked me what was the problem today. I told him I wanted my already cavity tooth, pulled because I chipped it and it had been hurting all week. He said "That's not a good reason. You don't want a root- canal because you're insurance doesn't cover it." (Wow) I ignored that comment. Then I said that it was sore and another tooth was bothering me also. He responded "I'm pulling it! You wanted it pulled, so I'm pulling it. Then he sticks me in the gums with a needle, while gaging me with his knuckles. I gagged, and scooted up to stop him. He then stops, jumps up and yells" I'm not doing this, you need a neural surgeon! This is to dangerous! Then stormed out of the room. The nurse and I looked at each other in shock. And so did the nurse and patient in the room across the hall. I came in his office in pain. And left embarrassed and in even more pain. I cried so hard, the manager(great help) came in an reassured me everything would be taken care of and apologized. The assisting nurse was helpful as well. Thank you, ladies. I filled out a report and hopefully his actions will have consequences. I've been going there for 15 years with no issues. I'd like to continue coming there, but with doctors/dentist I can trust.

I had ran out of my prescription and needed a refill. First of all, the doctor I was seeing was no longer there. I was not notified of that. My appointment was within the next 14 days and because I hadn't seen a doctor since November, they wouldn't give me a refill of a month or even 14 days supply. I even left a message on the administrator voice-mail. She has not contacted me yet. But do not be mistaken if I owed for a bill they would call me 3-4 times a day. This is an operation that cares about money rather than their patients.

I only put one star cause I wanted to write something please please please stay away from this place it is ghetto as everrrrrrrr staff is rude managers are rudest you will sit no less than a hour for your scheduled appointment and don’t go to the desk to say something you will literally get cursed out and again managers are the rudest you have people nodding of drugs in the lobby you have people walking in yelling cd dvd lighters loose squares loud you have staff literally walking from behind desk telling people meet me outside to fight just horrible clinic pleaseeeeeeee stay away
