We were seen 5/4. Sent to collections on 7/31. Received bill on 8/3 for $33. Tried to pay and my chart said we had no balance. Debt collector called today and I was surprised I had a bill. Reporting to state AG and federal trade commission for unfair and deceptive trade practices and fraudulent billing practices. We will not be back. Unfortunately private equity has a choke hold on healthcare and this is bad medicine.

Came in for a hip injury and I told the front desk about it. I told them how it occured in my hip and lower back and I had heard a pop. So they brought me into the room, the nurse took all my info, and then I got sent in to take two X-rays. Everything fine up until then, the X-rays are apparently to check for any fractures. Sure, makes sense, Except the x-ray didn't even include an image of my hip or the any part of the leg beneath it, just my spine. Then the doctor comes in, Dr.Skjong. Dr.Skjong is a hand & upper extremity surgeon, nothing to do lower back, lower body or hips, and it SHOWED. When he walked in I was sitting, and he performed ZERO physical assessment or physical evaluation. Didn't have me walk, didn't touch any area of my body to assess for muscle tears, didn't have me do any maneuvers to isolate what specific area the pain is coming from or what it could be. Instead he prescribed me a steroid pack and told me to reach out in 6 days if things get worse. Total time with doctor: 5 minutes. That's 5 minutes with a HAND surgeon for my HIP issue. Massive waste of my time and money. Don't go here.

My wife went in for her injured Knee. I used this place before and thought it was great. The doctor prescribed an MRI. We scheduled it and then were told that the insurance company had not approved it yet. So we had to wait a month until the whole procedure was approved. The day we went into to get it finally done. I asked the receptionist one more time if everything with the insurance is now taken care. She told me yes and we would never have been scheduled if it wasn't. A few weeks later IBJI sent us a bill for the entire amount and it stated that insurance would cover $0. Now IBJI is claiming I must have dreamed we went through that entire process and charging us the full price. I've contacted billing but I can tell they don't really care and we will be stuck with the bill. We were duped. I'll be cancelling all further appointments with this company and physical therapy. I can't trust them anymore.

You are welcome to make an appointment with one of our sports medicine physicians, or come into OrthoAccess. In this case Sports Medicine docs might be the best way to go.
You can call, and make an appointment with a foot and ankle specialist, or go to the walk in at ibji. Keep in mind this is an immediate care so if this is an ongoing problem, it's maybe best to set up an appointment with a foot/ankle. You should be able to call and do so.
