We are technically open. Our mobile office is closed for winter which you will have to pay your fees at Outdoor Recreation. The campground is dry camping and pack-in/pack-out until construction is finished late 2022. Any additional questions, please call us directly at 402-294-4049. Thanks!

Hi Jeremy, Thanks for the message. We hope to open the Base Lake to camping later this spring. The staff is working to get things in shape for a limited number of dry camping spots with no services. The area is currently open for fishing, archery, and canoe/kayaking. The Base Lake has been closed since the flooding in 2019. There are currently no working restrooms or facilities on property. The Boat House, Pavilion, FAMCAMP, playgrounds, and picnic areas remain closed and off limits. We are planning to rebuild & recover all of the lost facilities over the next few years.

Yes you can. We were there visiting our grandson as well. Our grandson had to visit their office on base to register us and prepay. It was an easy process. Have fun! Go to the fam camp website for details about registering.
