Support/service animals are different from pets Mr. Welch. What you are saying is almost what I was told at another store when my hearing aid batteries had died and I couldn't hear the cashier telling me how much it came to. I was told "if you are deaf you shouldn't be shopping by yourself and should be in a group home or institution" (I've been deaf for more than 20 years and I'm VERY GOOD at reading lips) service animals can be trained to take their "handler" to certain items, can alert others of a medical emergency and several other things.
