Service goes out often, sometimes it is the tv or the phone and internet- any combination or all. Cost is outrageous. I get it down and it slowly creeps back up. They show commercials that they are the no. 1 provider- maybe in Des Moines, sure not in Marshalltown or LeGrand. "Bundle" expires in Nov and I will find a new provider after dealing with Mediacom for 20 years.

I have zero complaints about the actual service of the cable & internet but if you aren't a new customer you are going to pay A LOT more. Bill recently went up after a promo expired and there was very little they could do but if I was a new customer I would pay half of what I am paying. When I made the comment to the service representative that they probably have a lot cancellations her response was we have a lot new customers every day. I am sure they do at that new customer price. I have been a customer with Mediacom in different areas for the past 15 years but will be cancelling. Dish or streaming is a far better option.

Are there issues with internet and cable in Marshalltown today?

Not that my family is experiencing. We've had solid internet all day today.

I was a customer a few months back but had me service disconnected, I have tried many times to get just internet hooked back up and I am told I have to wait my guestion is how long must I wait to get internet service hooked up for the special?

If you were in a promotion and disconnected service, there is a 90 day wait until you can hook up service with a promotion. From what I see, you should be able to connect now.

Why is my cable service inactive ? I have called every hour since 10:23this morning my bill is paid & I have yet to hear from any body ?

Fiber was damaged between Colfax and Newton affecting video services for Marshalltown. Technicians are working to repair the fiber and will get video service back on as soon as possible. Phone and internet services should still be operational. Sorry for the inconvenience.
