February of this year, we had an amazing experience at Another broken egg cafe. So much so, we decided that every time we came back to Nashville, we'd pop in for breakfast. This weekend we were back in town and after arranging our schedule to accommodate a delicious breakfast this morning, we were refused service by the manager on duty. We needed outdoor seating as we had our dog with us. We were told they only had 3 servers on and couldn't send anyone out to serve outside. My husband asked if they were refusing us service and the manager said Yes. This is obsurd!!! If they were short handed, which is understandable, the Manager should have stepped up and accommodated the patrons. Going as far as waiting on the table herself. Or offering a take out order or some kind of solution due to the inconvenience. This never happened and we were turned away. Because of the managers incompetence, they have lost our loyal business. It's a shame.

A nice breakfast place if you're looking for something above the typical breakfast joint. Things here are elevated some, making it more like a brunch instead of a basic breakfast. Good news for those who like a little extra treat, because they serve booze too if you like that sort of thing in the morning.

This week our party of five enjoyed a scrumptious birthday brunch with impeccable and friendy service. We ordered a variety of drinks and dishes, including a Mimosa, a loaded Bloody Mary, Biscuit Beignets, Hey Lucy Omelette, Eggs Benedict, Belgian Waffle, more fabulous egg dishes with a mix of City Grits, and substituted sweet fresh Strawberry, Blue and Black Berry bowls for potatoes...Wowie! Large portions at good prices!

Don’t waste your time. Basically an overhyped Denny’s. Waited an hour for a table and another 30-45 for food, which I’m willing to do for great food, but this was not. Eggs Benedict was comprised of a tough English muffin, dry ham, undercooked egg and cold Hollandaise. Bloody Mary tasted like V8 with a bunch of pepper, not much flavor and not very strong. Service was just okay, our server was sweet but seemed defeated and made some mistakes.
