Checkin was smooth but after that not so good....Rented Atalaya Towers 1005...Wonderful condo on the inside but the exterior of the building is something left to be desired. Anyways room was not really cleaned well at all. Found empty potato chip bags underneath beds. A sock under couch in living room. Also mold in showers and items not dusted at all....The washing machine in the unit was not working. Called and someone came out to look at it. They looked at it and said they will send technician. Well entire week goes by and nobody came out. Reficulous but anyways....When i did call about tjis and about condo not being cleaned. They said u want the condo re-cleaned? Im like no? Why it should of been cleaned in first place. So checkout day didnt realize checkout was at 11am a misunderstanding. Thought it was 11 but its 10. This elderly couple starts to come in condo and bery nast woman says checkout is at 10am. Says it on fridge. Im like ok. She was like tjis is rediculous. Find out that they where the ones cleaning the condo. So what was rediculous is the way they vleaned the condo before we checked in.. first and last time i use this realty service. So Many more options in Myrtle Beach area so skip this one .

Ms. Nelling, at the present time, beach tents are not allowed in unincorporated areas of Horry County, which includes the 1300 block of North Waccamaw. You can see a full list of the regulations here: https://www.horrycounty.org/About-Our-Beaches While neither Georgetown County nor Surfside Beach currently have a ban in place, Surfside Beach has discussed the issue and has attempted to add a ban in the past. We believe they've decided against it for now, however.
Mr. Sanders, Ocean Dreams does have a Keurig (or at least it did earlier this year,) but we're not sure about a crock pot. We'll try to take a look this Saturday and get back to you on that. As far as beach tents go, yes, they are allowed in both Georgetown County (where Ocean Dreams is located) and within the town limits of Surfside Beach. The only area in which they are not currently allowed is in unincorporated Horry County. Thank you!
Ms. Biggs, you can find them on our website at https://www.dunes.com/rental-policies-terms-and-conditions; however, the general gist is as follows: Reservations require an advance deposit (equal to one-half of the base rental amount) within ten days from date the reservation is made. Final payment including taxes, administrative fee and any additional items is requested 30 days prior to arrival. Once confirmed, reservations are not transferable to another property, as your deposit is held in trust specifically for the owner of the property in which you made your reservation. Should you cancel a confirmed reservation, you will forfeit your deposit (equal to one-half of your base rental rate) unless the property is able to be re-rented. All other prepaid monies will be refunded. Should the property be re-rented, all prepaid monies will be refunded. Note: If paid, the CSA Trip Insurance premium is not refundable. Ms. Grzybowski, we allow this year's guests to have the "first right" to the same week next year in the same property, and they have until noon on the day they depart to make that tentative reservation. For example, if you wanted the week of July 3-10 next year, you'd need to wait until after noon on July 11 this year to book it in order to give this year's guest the time they need. 4 o'clock but we got in around 3, the cleaning staff there seemed pretty well on their game. I believe for a bit extra you can get an early check in as well 11am I think.
Patty, we currently have 94 dog-friendly properties on our program. As of today, all of these are houses rather than condominiums, because most condo HOAs prohibit renters from bringing pets. Generally check-in is anywhere between 2 p.m. and 4 pm. But if no one is in the condo, or wherever you guys are staying, they will go ahead and give you the key early and let you go on & in... even if it's 10 in the morning! Also if no one is coming in the day after you they are usually good about letting you have late check out. I've been using Dunes Realty for about 30 years now and they have been great at all times!
Jessica, Surfside Beach and Garden City Beach would definitely fit the bill as far as nice, family-oriented and safe; however, we do have a minimum age of 25 for our guests. We may occasionally have a little "wiggle room" on that restriction at other times of the year, but the first two weeks of June are graduation weeks, and we take a pretty firm stance during those times. I'm sorry we aren't able to help in this case, but we'd love to welcome you and your family some other time!

Debbie, there sure are, but usually just on a last-minute basis in the summer. (By "last minute," we mean within about two weeks of the arrival date.) There are a good many more that will allow them farther out in the off-season. Give us a call, and we'll help in any way we can.
