Nice little town owned campgrounds. Also has a very scenic trail. Very inexpensive $18 for full hookups. Quiet and well maintained. Flat sites. Pull thrus.

A real gem! The campground is very clean and orderly, they have a volleyball court, Frisbee golf course, horseshoe pits, a nice big playground for kids, and the beautiful unique Waubonsie Trail. Don't miss Dutchman store, the Milton Cheese Factory, and Amish furniture store nearby. We also stopped by the Lacey Keosauqua State Park Beach, it had freshly groomed sand and clear waters.

Can't say much because we were just passing through & didn't stay. We stopped at The Dutchman store which we loved! Then the playground around the corner for a picnic, but restrooms were locked. So we started our journey to find a restroom for kids after everything was closed 😬 This park had nice restroom, 2 nice showers, 2 large covered picnic areas, and a nice playground. That's only what we could see from the front. My boyfriend was impressed, and wanted to return for camping which is $10 per night.

Questions & Answers

How much a night for cabins and how many people to a cabin? ( How many bedrooms, etc.)? Around Sept 20-22nd,2019 or Sept.27-29th,2019?

4 people at the small cabin. It has no bathroom or running water. It does have electricity. With that said, it has a microwave, coffee pot, small refridgerator and window air conditioner. It has 2 very comfortable futons that fold down to 2 double beds. You provide your own linen. The showers and bathroom are very nice. $25/night. That is where my husband and I stayed. The larger cabin is $72 or $75 a night. It has a full bath, bedroom and sleeps 6, linens are provided. I am not sure if it has a full kitchen, but I assume it has at least what the small cabin has. We really loved it. They do not allow pets.

Do pay to go through the Christmas trail?
