Nice little campground! We stopped one night on our way through. EZ in & EZ out. Level sites. Friendly people! A little bar in the office allowed us to get away from the coach after driving all day, no food but a nice bar & outside seating. Will definitely vome again!

Was great at first! Then our truck suddenly needed immediate service at the end of our week stay. I asked for another week because we had to have our truck repaired. The old man that manages the grounds threatened me aggressively! Took everything in me to remain calm. He called us names, said he’s seen our “type” before, talked to my wife like she was trash. Said he was going to get someone to tow my RV trailer away. We were nothing but respectful, we had an emergency situation, and they had absolutely no heart or compassion whatsoever. It’s hard to believe human beings can be so mean. I begged the owner (old mans wife) to let us stay while our truck was repaired. She finally gave in when she realized her husband is full of bs. We left in a hurry when we got our truck back! Old man is dangerous and rude.

We absolutely loved this place! Camped here so we could go to the SIU football game. Very easy drive from Marion to Carbondale. The staff here is amazing! We became friends with them immediately ~ so welcoming and helpful and fun to hang out with. They seem to love each other and love their jobs. Cute little indoor bar with TV and great outside beer garden that was being decorated with cute fall decor. Nice private, quiet camp site seconds off the interstate and close to shopping with a Casey right around the corner for last minute needs. We will definitely return and highly recommend. Thanks to the Marion camp ground staff for a great outdoor weekend. Oh, and the street lamps throughout the campground add an adorable touch. Very pet-friendly, too!

This place is a hidden gem. Most sites are pull through. Very easy to maneuver and set up. Sites have both 30 and 50 amp, water, sewer and cable hookup. Laundry facility had 2 washers, 2 dryers, $2 each, nice and clean. Showers were clean and individual with toilet, sink and plenty of hooks. They have a little bar connected to the office where you can have cocktails, beer, wine, video casino gaming, and a large outdoor patio. It was a great way to pass time while doing laundry😁 It was nice visiting with locals. We ordered pizza from Casey's just down the road, Taffy picked it up for us since we were still connected to our RV. So nice, excellent service. Nice hometown environment. Hopefully you will get to visit with Taffy and her husband who manage the park. Wonderful people and a nicely maintained place. We will definitely stay again.
