This store is incredible!! My daughter and I love everything that is sold here. The styles are so much fun and uplifting! Perfect for any age. I really like everyone who has ever worked there. They are always so friendly yet very professional. If something looks bad, they are great to suggest something else that might work better. I love that. It is annoying when a sales person tells you something looks great when you know full well that it does not. I think most people appreciate honesty. I'm not sure if the owners name/names, but she/they go above and beyond. Keep up the great work!

Where should I begin? My daughters and I had been anticipating our 1st visit to your store for quite some time. We were able to visit this weekend after much anticipation and left your shop feeling uncomfortable, confused and with regrets that we proceeded with our purchases and spent our money in your store. Retail workers should be trained how to appropriately address customers and how to casually monitor their goods and shoppers. My daughters and I all felt we had at least one other pair of eyes monitoring our every move. Persistent hovering during most of our experience. Both of my daughters were treated rudely while in the dressing room area. While waiting to check out with their purchases, a staff member who had found a price tag on the floor of a dressing room,. rushed towards my daughters and grabbed an item from my daughters hands to verify said item still had its tag. No one else in the store was approached or questioned . That’s profiling and the entire situation and experience was inappropriate. . If you aim to appease to the true “hippie” culture, I would suggest the employees be trained on how to acceptably approach your customers. How to make all the customers feel welcomed in your store. The atmosphere we felt was not “peace, love and kindness”. Lastly I purchased a Natural Life water bottle which I washed this morning to use. Even with gentle washing, the paint is already coming off and I haven’t even got to use it yet. Very disappointing and waste of money. Thanks for your response and lack of any apology, accountability or resolution other than your continued rude behavior and statements. Of course I know you didn’t “manufacture the Natural life water bottle” what a snarky response to a concern of a defective product you have within your inventory. Peace and love to you and yours

Gypsy Soul is the best boutique in Springfield. I have read a few negative reviews about staff hovering, “watching” customers and making them feel uncomfortable. I have never experienced any of this. What I have experienced is staff who are friendly, helpful, and engaging. They are attentive so you’re not carrying around an armful of clothing. I love that they take the clothes you want to try on and place them with your name on it in the dressing room. I always feel like I have special attention. I also love that this boutique is family owned. It is a highlight to shop at Gypsy every single time. I highly recommend shopping here. I would give it a million stars if I could. ❤️✌️☮️

G*psy is a racial slur. This boutique should consider updating their outdated name. When you know better, you should do better. Other boutiques and artists globally have learned, reflected, and changed their names to remove the word. I’ll delete my review when the boutique researches the harm of the word and makes the change.
