Convenient location. Still requires mask use for anyone that enters. The security guard is very patient with anyone who needs assistance with the kiosk. If you have all documents required, your time in the office will be short.

Very helpful and professional people.

They were very professional. I called before I arrived, and they answered all of my questions. The security guard was very professional and helpful as well. She runs a tight ship.

I had the most degrading experience today just simply trying to get an application. I was unaware how everything works for certain. I was told the applications would be open to grab . There was a line of people waiting that was blocking the applications . So once I get to the front the lady’s tone was so rude and degrading I was completely flabbergasted I just left. People are literally coming in putting their pride aside to ask for help in these ridiculous times just to be treated like my poor disgust you is ironic coming from a social worker.

Portsmouth
Do they open on Friday
You should look forward to receiving 1095-B in the mail that looks similar to your W-2 Form
The Manager of Social Security is the Honorable Congress Bobby Scott
I need to transfer my account to Naval Federal from wells Fargo
They take walk ins. Just go to the office and get on the kiosk. After that you will be called and someone will be able to help you.
You can go into the office but anything that may take a while is done by phone
I WOULD LIKETO SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT TO DISCUSS MY SOCIAL SECURITY BENEFITS, APPLYING FOR
No, appointments only due to Covid.
They will need birth certificate and or id
Yes you also can apply over the phone
During the pandemic they only do online business, strictly, even if the rexording says in-person apps. are available for certain cases. I've been waiting for months to get a new card after a name change, only because I refuse to mail them my drivers license and military ID (they only accept original docs, btw.) which would prevent me from driving and receiving medical care for 2-3 weeks. Unacceptable!!!
Yes
They are open regular time Monday Tuesday Thursday and Friday but they close at 12 only on Wednesday

Call them and ask about it
I don't know and unfortunately both the national social security hotline (800 number) and your local field office don't know either. I tried to get help from both. Both groups aren't trained in this area. I still don't know where to get help. If you go online, you get redirected by the person chatting to links that are useless ☹️
You can go social security and see if you can receive his benefits. Maybe a percentage. My mom just passed, n she received social security, my father was able to get the check.
If you are receiving benefits on what is called the direct express card or "green card", that card is mailed to you once you qualify and file for those benefits. If you are referring to the Medicare card or SSN replacement card those are also mailed to you and you should receive them in the mail within 2 weeks of your request.
