I'm giving the apartment a low rating because of the hoops I had to jump through just to find out I wasn't approved. I will say the people at the actual property were very nice, which is why I'm giving at least 2 stars. The number Hunter's Pond gives you that you have to call to get answers about your background check/credit score is not helpful, however. They kept transferring me around only for me, the first time, to get sent to some different company is Michigan. The 2nd time I was transferred to a line that had me leave a voice-mail, and upon getting a call back, it was the same company in Michigan. Whatever the Michigan company is, they are NOT connected to the credit score running company Hunter's Pond uses. After being transferred around numerous times I finally heard the credit score company's name: Rent Grow. After all the waiting and transferring I went straight to the website and got the report. The information given for why I was denied makes absolutely no sense to me. But after everything I went through just to get the report I'm done trying to fix this and don't wish to contact Rent Grow any more. Hunter's Pond can't help either because they aren't allowed to see the confidential information. Essentially, if I want to be approved/fix the errors in my report I have to call Rent Grow and hope I don't get transferred to whatever company they send me to in Michigan. I've never experienced this much trouble applying for an apartment nor have I ever been denied. Best of luck to those applying.

I lived at Hunter's Pond from August 2019 until August 2020 during graduate school, and I had a great experience. My building was very quiet, the parking lot and surrounding area was quiet, and it was overall a great apartment. All of my maintenance requests were met very quickly, and I had great experience with the leasing and front office staff.

15 minute drive from the campus but the ambience of the housing location and the interiors of the homes are wonderful!
