This was the absolute best. No one in my family has ever been on a horse before, but this was essentially my daughter’s dream. So we surprised her with the tour today. It was worth every single dime. The guide that came with us was remarkable. She talked us through the sites and helped us learn to ride. The tour also goes through some wooded trails. Honestly, this is a forever memory. The horses were so good. They pair you up with horses that match your ability. It was so clear that all the girls working there loved the horses. They were such professionals. Get there early because they book up. But we are all so glad we had this experience. Thanks for everything.

The staff were wonderful. My husband and I are both experienced horse riders. It was great that we were able to take horses out just the two of us. The trails were great and we enjoyed the two hour ride.

Great experience! If you are a little more experienced/comfortable you can ask to be able to ride off on your own for a bit. Bryan (not sure if spelled right) but she was a fun and talkative tour guide! I recommend getting there right when they open so you have first picks at times.

No, they don't allow you to go off the designated route whether you're with the guide or not. Most of the path is in trees and not on the paved roads.
Only in person same day reservations are taken. 2019 season begins early June and goes until late august. Daily opens at 9 closes around 5

I'm not sure about their child riding options but their sister stable Jack's does drive your own carriage rides. She could still interact with the horse but still see the island
They absolutely will! The guides are extremely helpful, and they'll have you fill out a survey to get a feel for which horse best suits your needs. You'll be in great hands (or should I say hooves?!)
The maximum weight is 250 pounds. They do ask for your height and weight on a form you have to fill out. They also have a scale. The horses' safety is a prime concern for them, so I imagine they take it very seriously.

Well if you just including Cindy's riding stables maybe 15 to 20 there maybe a couple hundred all together for the whole island not sure
You can ride along the outside loop of the island, which has a bit of shoreline, but not really a good beach. I recommend biking M-8, with the hills, it's a very easy ride, then using the horses to travel inland and up.
Yes depending on what time you go and the other group goes.
Its 50 per horse per hour. You pay the first hour up front then whatever time you go over you pay when you get back
