If possible I will give wilderness wireless no stars. After being purchased by ctc down the toilet they went. I canceled them in February and was told by there rep that the account was paid up to cancellation date then 6 months later they send me a bill. There rep now tells me because they changed there billing system I now owe then for another month. I would suggest to anyone living a remote area to switch to Starlink costs a little more but 10 time faster speeds and has never went out as Wilderness wireless often did.

Wilderness Wireless/CTC had an outage in McCall and Donnelly this past Saturday. No information available about it, either via their Facebook page or a phone recording, as you would expect from a carrier who provides a utility service. I left a message with tech support and finally received a call back several hours later with that information. The following Tuesday our service slowed to a crawl (0.15 Mgps) and then stopped entirely. It became impossible for me to do my job, as I work from home. I placed another call to tech support and was told "Oh, yeah, the McCall service is getting repaired today." Again, NO notification or announcement or posting anywhere about this information. Shortly after, I received an email with a subject line of ANOTHER PERSON'S first and last name and a ticket number and addressed to her (Cindy) telling me about the outage and repairs being done, as was announced "in the mass email we sent." Uhhhhh, no mass email received here. Even in my spam folder. This is not the first frustration with Wilderness Wireless/CTC and their tech support. They are the Keystone Cops of wireless services only it's not at all funny.
