We go to the Fields Landing park for easy access to the lake. We took our previous yellow lab there for a swim. Weekdays are not busy. I have great memories of our lab, "Smuckers", swimming there, retrieving sticks or chasing ducks in the lake. He never understood they did not need to outswim him. They had a great trick! Our new lab, "Norman", is 5 months old and 50 pounds. He is just learning to swim. Great time.

I love it here! It's a nice area to relax and exercise/work out! You just have to be careful when walking/running because some people like to speed by and not care about others. But other than that, I love it.

Super fun park! Great for fishing, kayaking, taking a walk. grills, picnic tables, and if you covered pavilions. Free parking, but needs more spaces. Port-A-Potty.

Wonderful park that's not too busy at peak times. Is a wonderful spot for sunset pictures over the lake and has spots to BBQ. Sometimes it can get crowded.

they are open tables unless you are planning a family reunion. 1st come 1st seating. it's a great location to enjoy sunrise/sunset. plenty of nature to view and good fishing, plenty of trails to walk that travel somewhat close to the water. you also experience lots of that southern hospitality.
