Always love buying postcards at the nearby visitors center, then mailing them at the post office. Ask the postal worker to cancel your cards postage with the beautiful Yosemite rubber stamp. Very special!

We where in the village and decide to pay a visit. I have not sent a vacation post card in decades and wanted to share old tech with our 3 kids. Post master was friendly and courteous. We bought a few post card. We had great experience showing the kids how to send mail through the U.S. Postal Service. Historic buliding located in Yosemite Village. Yosemite Village Post Office, completed in 1924. Bulilding has stone facade on the lower level and wood shingles on the upper level. Cool rustic architecture, or “parkitecture.” Popular destination for park visitors to mail postcards and letters with the Yosemite National Park postmark. The Post Office sells park related stamps and post cards. My kids enjoy writing postcard to grandma and family.

Post card never arrived to address. Waste of time and money to send a nice gift to someone if the post office could not even deliver what they are supposed to be doing. Shipping mail.

They had flat rate boxes and envelopes and the staff were helpful in getting my APO box posted properly.
