I can’t rave enough about this hotel. The staff is amazing and quickly became family. James, Courtney, Monique, Shar, Mrs. Kathy and Mrs. Theresa are amazing and went above and beyond to make my family comfortable during our stay. We shared many conversations and laughs. I highly recommend them.

Very nice older Home2 Suites. The staff were great and the room was nice. Some minor stains on the window shades and it looked like someone spilled something on the desk chair. Overall a nice place I would stay again. Breakfast was pretty good with the usual breakfast sandwich, oatmeal, cereal, toast/bagel, or Belgium waffle.

When we first checked in hotel was interesting the guy working was really nice forgot to catch his name was friendly and warm we got our keys for two rooms the first room seemed great until we saw a cockroach in the corner that’s disgusting and unsettling. the other room had an ozone machine in the room when we entered so already that’s not a good sign for the room it smelled mucky so either someone smoked or it was wet carpet so we asked to get switched which was not good at all I specifically needed two rooms together so I was across from my disabled mother who needed me during the night so I was moved to 431 so I ran up and down the stairs all night which was not okay. And Kim was fantastic nice kind and talkative and helped us out a lot. After that we were told by the Morning desk person to ask about a late checkout in the morning which makes no sense to me so this morning capped down to the desk and asked for a 1pm late checkout as a gold member we always got it but apparently couldn’t get past 12:30 which was an inconvenience because we needed to sleep in late we didn’t get to the hotel. Til 10:20 pm and had a rough night sleeping so we felt that we needed to rush out of the rooms before we left and breakfast should be 6-10 like a lot of other Hilton’s I have stayed at including. So in conclusion I don’t feel that we will be coming back which is unfortunate because it’s a great spot for when we go to the beach during the summer and I need to be compensated with points for something this was such an inconvenience to me and my family. thanks!

The upkeep of the rooms was terrible. I was moved twice and did not feel like moving again so just stayed in the third room. The stag was AMAZING the entire time and I understood there was only so much that they could do. My first room had a water problem, my second room had no AC, and the third room had the noisiest AC unit and it would wake me up at night when it turned on. It sounded like a jet engine starting up. These rooms have not been kept up with maintenance and there was a bunch of other little things wrong. My room phone had no buttons, there was missing wall hardware, etc.

This hotel is on Rt. 13 about 2.5 miles south of Dover Downs, it is a short walk to downtown State St on pretty streets. If you book don't forget to ask for your AARP discount, I forgot to do so.
11 a.m. is standard however you can check out at noon without an additional fee.
Yes. We didn't have a dog, but there were several people on our floor who did. Also, make sure they don't bark at every little sound. One couple, on a different floor from us, was asked to leave because their dog barked day and night. We heard about it from people in the pool. It's a great place, with a great staff!!
