I really wanted to like this office and I have a family member who did have a good experience. My experience has been extremely frustrating. OhioGastro had an ultrasound done on me and determined I had an issue. When I asked what I need to do to fix it, they said I needed a more in-depth scan (fibroscan) before we'd be able to create any plan. Here's where it goes downhill. 15 days ago - I got my fibroscan. In, out, easy. 11 days ago - I saw in their Healow portal that my scan results were sent over. No data in the app and it doesn't work to allow me to ask questions of my nurse practictioner. 10 days ago - I hadn't heard anything results so I gave the office a call. They took a message to call me back. 8 days ago - I still hadn't heard anything or gotten a call back. I called again. They put in another message and marked it "high priority/emergency"). 6 days ago - I still hadn't gotten a call back. I called the office again. They transferred me to the physicians assistant this time...who took a message and marked me "high priority." 5 days ago - I still hadn't gotten a call back. I called again and they sent me to a different physicians assistant. Same thing, took a message. I let them know that I was starting to worry and was going on WebMD to figure out what may be going on even though I totally am not the person to be determining that. They apologized and took their message, said I'd get a call back that day or first thing the next morning. 4 days ago - Still hadn't heard anything. I'd cleared my calendar for the morning so I'd be available. At 1pm, they actually called and left a voicemail (it was the one time I couldn't talk and I'd told them that). The voicemail told me to just call them back. I did so, left a voicemail. 3 days ago - Still hadn't heard back. Called again. Receptionist (who is nice) took down a message again. 2 days ago - No call back. Receptionist tried to transfer me to the nurse practioner on call. They did not answer...so I left a voicemail. Two hours later, they did call back...to tell me that they were going to try to find a doctor to look over the results. They said I'd "definitely" hear something by the end of that day or first thing the next morning. 1 day ago - Still no call back despite that promise. I called the office, they took another message. Tried to get me to the NP on call, they didn't answer. So... It's been 11 days and I still have no idea what is happening. I'm not an anxious customer or a challenging customer typically... but this is incredibly poor follow through and I wish I'd gone with another doctor in the first place. Super disappointing. Hopefully someday I'll hear something about my tests.

When you're in office you are treated well. However, service is lacking if you have to call in. I have called several times being told I would recieve a call back, and I never do. I have been battling Crohns symptoms since March. The doctor said that we could try switching my meds, however it would require prior authorization. I gathered the information needed for the practice, and recieved a rude call from the office assitant named Elena. She was very unprofessional. I have left messages to check on the status of my prior authorization as my insurance isn't showing one has even been started. She has yet to call back.
